Global Standard, Proven Power
Flexible. Powerful.
Full Closed Loop.
Trusted for years on the industry's most demanding axes, the ProNet series offers a wide power range of up to 22 kW, 300% overload capacity, EtherCAT / CANopen integration and "Full Closed-Loop" control with an external linear scale.
PRONET PLUS
Comprehensive Engineering
Going beyond a standard servo drive, ProNet is an axis control hub that damps mechanical resonances, communicates with external scales and remains stable even with high-inertia loads.
Full Closed Loop
Standard servos (semi-closed loop) read the encoder on the motor shaft. ProNet, however, reads both the motor shaft encoder and an external linear scale (optical scale) on the machine at the same time. This completely eliminates backlash and elasticity in mechanical transmission elements (ball screw, gearbox, belt), delivering absolute precision at the micron level.
20-Bit Encoder
An absolute encoder that divides one revolution of the motor shaft into 1,048,576 increments. Delivers zero vibration and excellent surface quality at low speeds.
Advanced Vibration Suppression
Features multiple "notch filter" algorithms to filter out low-frequency end-point oscillations and high-frequency resonance noise in the machine mechanics.
300% Overload Capacity
The capacity to produce peak torque of up to 3 times the motor's rated output during start-up, emergency stops or momentary jams. A flawless power reserve for overcoming mechanical inertia.
Engineering Note: Why Does Full Closed Loop Matter?
Thermal Expansion: On a machine driven by a ball screw, friction heats the screw and it elongates by fractions of a millimetre. A drive that only looks at the motor encoder cannot detect this elongation and machines the part at the wrong point. By reading the external scale, ProNet knows where the tool tip really is and compensates the motor accordingly.
Backlash: In gearboxes and gear trains, wear creates mechanical play over time. When reversing direction, the motor turns but the load does not move. Full closed-loop control eliminates this mechanical play at drive level, delivering new-machine precision even on aged mechanics.
