a
PC
Tool designed to trend/ trace
the values of parameters on Nidec Control Techniques drives and
option modules.
The main
features available are:
Minimum
System Requirements:
Note that
you must have administrator rights to install CTScope. You
do not need administrator rights to run CTScope but this
will be necessary should you wish to simultaneously run
CTSoft or SYPTLite.
To install
CTScope please insert the CD and the auto-run facility
should start up the front-end screen from which you can
select CTScope. Otherwise run the SETUP.EXE in the CTScope
folder.
N.B. If you have a previous copy of CTScope
installed you must uninstall it first (you will not lose
any existing projects).
Important
Note:
The new digital channel window has resulted in a
different scope view and window layout. If installing
CTScope as an update to an earlier version, it is
recommended that you delete the old layout file (created
when you exit CTScope). Search for CTScope Layout.xml
(in Windows 7 it will be found in folder
C:\Users\your
user name\AppData\Roaming\Control
Techniques\CTScope\English\
)
Product
Registration
This version of CTScope requires the product to be
registered with Nidec Control Techniques after installation.
Unregistered copies have full functionality: a reminder,
however, that the product must be registered will be
displayed before any further use is permitted. To register,
go to the registration website (www.controltechniques.com/ctscope/)
and carry out the instructions detailed on the site. You
will then be emailed a special Key Code which must be
entered in the relevant window in the registration dialog.
Clicking the 'Unlock' button with a correct Key Code will
disable the reminder dialog.
N.B.
An unlocked
version of CTScope cannot be copied to another PC without
repeating this registration process.
CTScope is
uninstalled in the usual way: go to Control Panel and select
"Add and Remove Programs". Scroll down the list, locate
"CTScope" and click the "Change/Remove" button. Uninstalling
will not lose any user data files.
1. CTSoft users may find that Mentor MP drives
can no longer be displayed or created. This is due to the
use in CTSoft of an older library that is shared with
CTScope. A new release of CTSoft will be shortly
issued.
A workaround fix to this problem can be
made by uninstalling and reinstalling CTSoft.
